What power lies within the images that stay with us? This workshop invites you to explore archival photography not as a static object, but as a living tool for understanding identity, centered around the collection Frida Kahlo. We will gather for a journey through the history of images and the preservation of visual memory. Participants will learn to shake up their own archives to uncover new meanings across analog and digital formats. We will examine physical film materials and explore our own collections to deepen our understanding of the images we keep. Our goal is to learn how to work with our visual traces and expand our ability to see through the lens.
